Riley's Farm Reflection
I did multiple fun things at Riley’s Farm. One thing is that learned about the revolutionary war. Another thing is that I found out how to weave. One other thing is that I got to see a real life size musket. All of these things I found out in Riley’s Farm.
I learned about the Revolutionary war with the British and us. The people explained about the war and how we were out numbered by the British, but we still won. I also found that muskets need to be reloaded after time instead of having a magazine. Also, you had to do everything on your own and do everything yourself other than other people doing it. This is what I learned about the revolutionary war of 1775.
I also learned about how to weave with a loom and string. I first learned the steps of looming. First, you shear the sheep and make thin threads of string. Then you carve two different pieces of wood, one small, one large. After, you move the string, in and out, in and out, etc. After you do one row, you do the next in the opposite way.
I then got to see a real life size musket that was used in the revolutionary war. It was about 2 feet long without the bayonet. A bayonet is a sword like tip to put on the end of a musket. When we were having a fake war with us and the British, the commander of the British shot black powder (gun powder) out of the musket. I hope you liked my reflection of Riley’s Farm and what I did there.

American Revolution
Some of the causes of the american revolution are that first, they did not like King George III. Quartering Act of 176, Sugar Act of 1764, Stamp Act of 1765, Tea Act, Townsend Act, Boston Tea party of 1773, Converse Act, and Intolerable Acts. Me and my partner researched about the Olive Branch Petition. This was when John Dickinson made a document about why the colonists want to be free. The Articles of Confederation made, for example, the money from Mississippi no good in Georgia and the same way flipped around. The Constitution is a document about the laws and was signed by over 50 peoples.
I have been knowledgeable because I have also been a risk taker by taking more risks then I usually use
